Spatial simulation

AcaysiaDRT

3D spatial simulation for process unit operations.

AcaysiaDRT extends AcaysiaRT with lattice-Boltzmann transport for full 3D spatial modeling of any unit-op class in the Acaysia typed process ontology. Built for any process, in any plant.

Transport

Lattice Boltzmann · D3Q19 · BGK

The vessel as a grid, not a point.

Where a well-mixed model treats a vessel as one point, DRT resolves it as a grid and marches every cell.

Each lattice cell carries nineteen discrete velocities. Every step they collide in place and stream to their neighbors, and Strang operator splitting couples that transport to the reaction in the same cell.

The D3Q19 lattice stencil: one rest velocity at the center of a lattice cell, six velocities to the face neighbors and twelve to the edge neighbors.
